Vat Fuel Scale Charges

Remember that for Vat returns where the period commences after 1^st May 2008 you must apply the new rates..

The charge depends on the CO2 emissions rating of the car, but is not based on a formula as the income tax benefit in kind is. This means it is necessary to look up the exact figure in the full table.

HM Revenue and Customs should have sent you the new updated table, if however you need a copy or assistance please ring Christine on reception at Bewdley.

You will of course now need to know the CO2 emissions figure for each car. These can be found at www.vca.gov.uk

Minimum Wage
